Emberfall Saga
★★★★★ 4.6
Emberfall Saga is the kind of RPG I keep recommending to people who think mobile can't do proper role-playing. You lead a small band of wanderers across a fading kingdom, and the turn-based combat rewards thinking two moves ahead rather than mashing attack.
The writing carries it. Party members bicker, change their minds, and have quiet moments at camp that made me care more than I expected. Menus are clean, saves are generous, and battles never overstay their welcome.
It's not a huge game, and that's a compliment. You can finish the main arc without it turning into a second job, and the class-tinkering gives you a reason to poke around afterward.
What we liked
- Tight turn-based combat
- Characters that actually grow on you
- Fits neatly into short sessions
