Drifting 101 With Neon Drift Circuit
Neon Drift Circuit clicked for us once we stopped treating it like a serious racing sim. It's a rhythm game wearing a racer's jacket, and the sooner you accept that, the faster you get.
The single biggest change was braking earlier. Tapping brake before the corner sets up the slide, and then it's all about holding the line instead of fighting it. Chain your boosts out of each drift and your lap times drop fast.
We also stopped fighting the ghost races and started studying them. Watching your own best run reveals exactly where you're bleeding speed, usually a corner you're overthinking.
It's a great little game for short bursts, and it's forgiving enough that improvement feels steady. Give it three or four sessions before you judge it — that's about when the muscle memory kicks in.
